PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to forecast a bursting rate of a rock crusher before the execution by inputting mechanical and geometric information for an object to be crushed when the tube type rock crusher is used to crush bedrock, concrete, etc. SOLUTION: A rock crusher formed by arranging a plurality of loading plates 25 on the outside of protect rubber 24 having a regular square section inserting a high bearing rubber tube 21 therein is inserted into a rock crushing hole formed in an object to be crushed, and high pressure water is supplied from a pressurized rubber hose 26 to make cracks in the rock crushing hole with the loading plates 25 to crush. A bursting rate g (X) of the rock crusher is forecasted from the formula: g(X)=T-N(1-sin&phiv)#1u /2 where: T is the load resistance of the rock crusher, N is the coeeficient of the correction by the formation tolerance of the crushing position and the rock crushing hole, &phiv is the inside friction angle of the object to be crushed, &theta u is the uniaxial compressive strength of the object to be crushed. By the constitution, a bursting rate of the rock crusher can be accurately forecasted.
