5. DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
Course «The professional-focused foreign language» is aimed at achieving a certain level of language competence, and on the formation of professionally significant practical abilities and skills to successfully implement a communication in a foreign language when dealing with the various professional tasks. The essence of «The professional-focused foreign language» is its integration with special disciplines with a view to obtaining additional professional knowledge and professionally significant qualities personality formation. Foreign language in this case is a means of improving professional competence and personal and professional development of students and is a prerequisite for successful professional activity of a specialist of the modern University. This course provides for the formation of students ' ability of foreign language communication in specific professional, business, and scientific areas and situations, taking into account the particularities of the professional mindset. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to: - Know and understand (handle А): key concepts and terms in foreign control theory language; essence and classification of management decisions, technology training and managerial decision-making in a foreign language; the rules of word formation, lexical units, terminology, typical for the profession of "management"; foreign language to the extent necessary to obtain professional information from foreign sources and communication on a professional level; -To be able (handle B): use terminology management in a foreign language: under the thematic content of the course; apply the concepts, principles and functions of management in management activities in a foreign language; identify and describe the factors of internal and external environment: organizations in the foreign language; develop and substantiate the managerial decisions using professional terminology in a foreign language; apply business techniques in their professional activities and management of communication in a foreign language; -To own (the handle C,D,E): be familiar with interactions between the environment, technology, human resources, and organizations in order to achieve high performance; -To acquire practical skills (handle C,D,E): be aware of the ethical dilemmas faced by managers and the social (The encoding of the Dublin descriptors: A-knowledge and understanding, applying knowledge and understanding-making (drafting) judgment, D - communicative skills E - learning skills) The role and importance of the discipline: this discipline is the basic discipline of compulsory component according to GOSO RK specialty: 5B050700-Management Discipline forms students such communicative functions that would allow exercising professional contacts in a foreign language in different areas and situations.
