Donbass State Technical University. We are students of Donbass State Technical University. It was founded in 1957 and had only 3 departments and 226 students. Now it is one of the biggest and most important higher educational establishments in Ukraine. The university trains specialists for various fields of national economy of our country. Many students of day-time and correspondence forms of education study at different departments of the university. There are such departments as Mining, Civil Engineering, Automation of Industrial Processes, Metallurgical, Economic and Management. The teaching staff is numerous and highly qualified. The academic year is divided into two terms. At the end of each term students take tests and examinations. Those who fail them should take another attempt or they may be expelled from the university. At their disposal students have a lot of modern facilities: light and large auditoriums, laboratories equipped with modern machines and apparatus, computer classes, the library with a very good stock of books.
