Note: Crowley, "The theory of the Operation was to identify the toad with the 'Dying God' and slay it. At the same time I caused the elemental spirit of the slain reptile to serve me."... This ritual was published in The Satanists and Aeon II under the title of The Initiation. It is originally found in Crowley's Diary of a Magus (The Urn, Liber 73). In Crowley's handwritten copy he writes that this manuscript is to be given to certain members of the VIth Degree OTO.
