Certainly this day today is a great

Hallowed be thou name, thou kingdoms,

Thou power and thou glory.

May thou kingdom come,

That thou will be done,

Upon Earth just as in thou Heavens.

Our Father God in heaven at wing,

Eternal Creator King,

We thank thee for our gift of life,

And for the goodly view

Of this glorious morning tide

While we watch all life renew.

Blessed Father, Holy God,

please hearken unto me,

You are so ever good to us,

May we do thy will so free,

on Earth, as thou in Heaven's

thou blessed call our greater cause

What is thy will, O glorious Lord,

ye host of highest heaven?

Illuminate our thoughts this day

And feed us with thy leaven

Forgive us all our debts of sin

As we forgive each other

Please set my feet straight,

That I might seek to always serve

All my brothers and my sisters

Without the least of swerve.

Help me to see, how I can be

A blessing to us all,

And help me to ever answer

To the greater, higher call

To serve as Good Samaritans,

To exercise restraint,

And follow in the footsteps

Of every holy Saint.

Blessed God, O holy Lord

Receive our humble prayer

We ask you most sincerely God,

Bless our families with thy power

Where ever our footsteps take us

This good day of new light

Of yours and mine and ours,

A day that in truth belongs to thou,

Our merciful loving Lord of All,

of all that's pure and right.
