The book by G.B.Giles is entitled “Marketing”. It was first published in London by Pitman Publishing, division of Longman Group Limited in 1968 and its sixth and last edition was in 1994. It comprises 286 pages, three parts, each of which is organised into smaller parts. In addition the book has four appendices.

This is a concise, theoretically sound, yet practically oriented handbook with a special focus on major changes that have taken place over recent years in supply / demand situations having a major impact on marketing planning and execution, and thus on education and planning.
