within the limits set forth in the Specifications, the essential requirements according to Annex I of the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) that are relevant for the equipment supplied, are applicable and fulfilled to the extent deemed necessary after a risk assessment carried out by FLUID.

The assembly instructions supplied with the partly completed machinery contain a description of the conditions which must be met with a view to correct assembly of the partly completed machinery with other parts (e.g., with containers), so as not to compromise safety and health.

Furthermore we declare that the equipment supplied by subcontractors (e.g., motor, gearbox, seals,...) was installed in compliance with their instructions. The attached declarations, certifications and notes of the individual manufacturers apply.

The partly completed machinery must not be put into service until the final machinery into which it is to be incorporated has been declared in conformity with the provisions of the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).

This applies, in particular, to the interfaces where the FLUID equipment ends. The manufacturer of the partly completed machinery is not in a position to assess whether the essential requirements of the directives have been applied to and are fulfilled by these interfaces. This assessment and the resulting measures are the responsibility of the manufacturer of the machine into which the partly completed machinery will be incorporated, or of his authorised representative.

Similarly, in the case of partly completed machinery intended for use with foodstuffs or with cosmetics or pharmaceutical products, only the manufacturer of the machine into which the partly completed machinery is to be incorporated can assess whether the supplementary requirements according to Annex I, item 2, are applicable and are met.

If this partly completed machinery or any of its components is subject to additional directives, reference is ᅲ made to the corresponding declarations of conformity (see assembly instructions).

The relevant technical documentation described in Annex VII, part B, has been prepared for the partly completed machinery.

The manufacturer undertakes to transmit, in response to a reasoned request by the national authorities, relevant information on the partly completed machinery by a suitable method.
