Rehanging the Agitator Shaft

St Alternative

● Attach a rope/belt sling of sufficient length to both ends of the agitator shaft (instruction → previous page)

	CAUTION
Tighten the eye-bolts loosely only 一 Risk of damaging the flange surface

● Attach two eye-bolts to the flange

● Draw a short rope/belt sling through the eye-bolts

● Put the sling into a hook with slip-off protection

	CAUTION
Do not put the agitator shaft on an edge — danger of bending

● Lift the agitator shaft with the long rope/belt sling

	WARNING
The agitator shaft could swing out during rehanging

● Lift the other hook

● Take the full weight on the second hook

● Remove the long sling

The agitator shaft is ready for lowering into the vessel

Nd Alternative

● Attach a rope/belt sling of sufficient length to both ends of the agitator shaft (instruction → previous page)

● Attach another short rope/belt sling behind the flange

● Attach a short rope/belt sling behind the flange

	WARNING
The agitator shaft could swing out during rehanging

	CAUTION
Do not put the agitator shaft on an edge — danger of bending

● Tighten the slings and rotate them such that they point in opposite directions ●Put the slings into a hook with slip-off protection

● Lift the agitator shaft with the long rope/belt sling

● Lift the other hook

● Take the full weight on the second hook

● Remove the long sling

The agitator shaft is ready for lowering into the vessel

● Lift the agitator shaft with the long rope/belt sling

	CAUTION
Do not put the agitator shaft on an edge — danger of bending
